SYNOPSIS

Human beings rarely have the opportunity to block a major environmental disaster before it starts. Stopping Deep Sea Mining (DSM) is one of those unusual moments. Dilemma in the Deep is about recognizing and interrupting the human tendency to exploit the earth and that by connecting DSM to colonialism and materialism, we will shed light on the human philosophies of expansion and exploitation and how they contrast with those of stewardship of the ocean.
